Scanteam's objective is helping our clients and partners to achieve their goals by strengthening their knowledge, skills and quality of work.

Scanteam is an independent consultancy milieu, specialising in developing and conflict-affected countries and transitional economies.

We offer analysis and advice on development assistance strategies, programming and projects through independent appraisals, reviews, evaluations and studies. Our core competency is  knowledge and application of "good practice" methodologies.

Scanteam's practice areas include Aid Effectiveness; Capacity Development; Public Administration and Financial Management; Fragile States and Post-Conflict societies; Good Governance and Anti-corruption; Infrastructure, Energy and Environment; Private Sector Development; and Risk Analyses and Management.

Our services address a wide range of activities, from complex multi-donor trust funds and budget support modalities to NGO programs and technical projects. We can field large multi-disciplinary teams as well as individual sector experts.  

Scanteam has 20 years of experience, completing assignments in more than 100 countries. Our clients include governments, development banks, United Nations agencies, non-governmental organisations, and private companies.
