Improving Your Results :Applying "Good Practice" and Field-tested ExperienceOur core skill is knowledge and application of "good practice" methodology for project, programme and strategy planning, implementation
and quality assurance. This is in part based on theoretical knowledge: Scanteam has written handbooks on development methodology and teaches courses in the field. But the most important source of knowledge is the practical experience gathered through the field-based tasks we carry out: project and programme identification and appraisals; monitoring and indicator development; implementation, reviews and evaluations; and training and facilitation in these fields. |
Different ApproachesDifferent planning, monitoring and evaluation approaches are used by our clients, and the stakeholders they work with: NGOs and civil society actors, public institutions, donor agencies and national governments. Scanteam has used many of these methodologies. We have applied or adapted them according to the context and the needs of our clients, to achieve the best results under the particular circumstances. While there may be important differences among these, our approach is always a participatory one with a focus on listening to the views of the full range of stakeholders. |
