Managing Complex TasksScanteam usually has management responsibilities for the tasks we are involved in. We provide methodology guidance, structure the work, edit the reports, and assume the responsibility for delivering quality on time to the client. Many tasks involve other international and local consultants, numerous stakeholders, cutting across a number of sectors and therefore requiring diverse skills. Ensuring that all parties contribute as expected can present considerable management and negotiation challenges. Taking opposing views seriously and using them constructively, engaging all stakeholders in the joint task of finding better solutions requires experience and critical analysis. While such tasks can at times be frustrating, they are also often the most interesting and where we feel Scanteam's wide international exposure can provide important value-added to the actors involved. |
