Peter Croal is a Fellow of the Royal Canadian Geographical Society and has been working in the field of environmental assessment and international development for over 35 years. He focuses on the relationship between environmental management, resource extraction, and poverty reduction in developing countries and the Arctic. His work has taken him to over forty developing countries.
